Dana Cripps – Brand Manager.
“Hey, I am Dana and I volunteer as a Surf Mentor for the North Cornwall Wave Project in Bude. The Wave Project uses surfing as therapy for children and young people with mental health problems. I volunteer over the summer for 3 hours a week”.
Kevin Booth – Branch Manager.
“Hi I’m Kevin, I volunteer coaching both kids and adults rugby for Bideford RFC. Bideford is based in North Devon, and the club runs teams from under 7’s to three male senior teams and one female senior team. I’ve had the pleasure of coaching the senior team to two league promotions and two cups in the past”.
Jamie Dawson – Permanent Consultant.
“Hi, my name is Jamie and I volunteer coaching football for Welwyn Garden City Youth U12s. I do this all year round, excluding school holidays, and I have been doing so since August 2016. I help the kids to get active in sport and improve their football skills, social skills as well as their general fitness”.
Gary Bradley – National Business Director.
“Hi, I’m Gary and I volunteer for the Diana Award 3-4 hours every other week. I do this at a variety of schools across Yorkshire, to help support kids through the programme.
The Diana Award, supported by HRH Prince Harry, is a mentoring programme that pairs year 8–10 students with volunteer mentors from the world of work. Mentors give students an invaluable insight into the world of work, help transfer essential career skills and support students to design and implement a community social action project”.
Mark Elton – Quality, Risk and Compliance Director.
“Hi, I’m Mark and I am treasurer of a Wigston Club for Young People. Wigston Club for Young People is a registered charity that provides a place of safety for young people between the ages of 8 and 24 to learn life and social skills in a safe environment – I have been involved for over 25 years and was a youth leader.
I help out approximately 4 to 8 hours per week. We are currently in the process of trying to get funding to build a new clubhouse. This way we can extend our hours and provide better and more modern facilities to the attendees who are often from underprivileged backgrounds and areas of social deprivation.
