In September 2017, the Cordant Group announced it was transforming its business model to become one of the largest social enterprises in the UK. Why? Because Phillip Ullmann, Chief Energiser and joint shareholder, along with the Cordant Group board recognised that society is increasingly losing faith and trust in both private and public sector organisations.

As a spokesperson for social business Phillip was recently interviewed by The Times for their ‘A Life in the Day’ feature, where he discusses family, business, fishballs and how he hopes to influence other CEOs to take responsibility for social development goals.
