In September 2017, we transformed Cordant Group into a social business.
At Cordant, we believe that the Capitalist business model could work more responsibly for everyone. To reflect this, we’ve already capped our shareholder dividend and our executive pay. We are also delivering a five year plan that aims to rebuild the lost trust now associated with business, primarily designed to improve all worker opportunities, their pay, and the communities in which they operate, while still generating profits and securing the long-term future of the economy.
We believe in taking responsibility to deliver change as individuals and as a corporate and that our social business model has the power to create a fairer society with a focus on purpose, not just profits, and wellbeing not simply wealth creation. Our goal is to reconnect people with a sense of delight in their work, and to provide them with the support to live more meaningful and fulfilled lives in and out of the workplace.
We want to make a difference to the lives of others every day, supporting programmes that will have a positive impact on society.
